Production has begun on the sixth season of BBC One detective drama Strike, which is subtitled The Ink Black Heart.
The BBC confirmed the news by posting two new pictures of stars Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger – who play Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott in the series – holding a clapperboard bearing the season’s name.
That pair will be joined in the cast for the next instalment by a number of other returning stars such as Ruth Sheen (Unforgotten), Jack Greenlees (The Trial of Christine Keeler), Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders, The Wheel of Time) and Caitlin Innes Edwards (Hanna).
